NOTE: The following is best read while listening to “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. I will give you a moment to play that song.

Ready?

.) I grew up in Elizabethtown, Kentucky (Yes, Elizabethtown like that movie that really wasn’t that good starring Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst).

.) I’ve got bad news ladies. I’m spoken for.

.) I have a wiener dog named Seriously. He is the best dog ever.

.) I went to a taping of “The Price is Right” when Bob Barker was hosting. I didn’t get to ‘come on down’, but I did make a lot of stupid faces for the camera.

.) I’m a writer and performer.

.) I’m hungry.

.) I am a former youth minister.

.) I am against the black plague. Unlike some Joe Bennett’s out there.

.) I learned to tie my shoes on St. Patrick’s Day.

.) I have lived in two states: the Bluegrass State and the Show-Me-State (currently in KY).

.) I have had 3-4 concussions (I can’t remember).

.) I would hate to be lactose intolerant.

.) These are the sports teams I care about the most: University of Kentucky basketball and Boston Red Sox baseball.

.) I was a Red Sox fan before 2004.

.) I have better than perfect vision.

.) Cal Ripken Jr. is my favorite baseball player of all time.

.) I share a birthday with Kenny G and Marky Mark (Funky Bunch not included).

.) I do not like flying.

.) My middle name is Robert. That makes me Joe Bob.

.) I do not ride roller coasters.

.) My life would be totally different if I were three inches taller.

.) I once bowled a 228, which is good for me, so back off.

.) I think these people are really funny: Larry David, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Sarah Silverman, Steve Martin, Dave Chappelle (to name a few).

.) The first CD I ever bought was Dave Matthews Band “Under the Table and Dreaming.” That was an extremely white-guy purchase.

.) I love trivia.

.) If I had to choose between giving up TIVO or air conditioning, I don’t know which I would choose. My brain would explode before I could decide.  I hope to never be forced to make that decision.
