Last night, I competed in the Alley Theater Improv Challenge with a group from Heyman Talent. I was asked to be a part of the team two days ago, had never met any of the other team members, and knew none of the improv games we would be playing. Regardless, I had a really good time despite my nerves and lack of improv experience.
We ended up winning last night although our performance was…well…a bit amateur. But we plan on practicing and hopefully we will be better the next time.
If you are interested in coming to the next performance, I will post the date and time as soon as I find out. Not only will you get to see average improv, but the $5.00 you pay to get in goes to charity.
Another added bonus is that the show will be on the local CW starting in October.
